Beautiful, I really like the mottled lighting on the whales and I think the composition could have been tightened up, theres alot of empty space, Very nice work nonetheless.

I think I disagree with the crits, here. This is your style and it works for me. good job.

I dont know if you would see solid blacks on the wales since they are under water, also all 3 are rendered as if they were the same distance from the viewer. The further they objects are, the values should get lighter and the details less pronounced. The light beams are nice but should be broken up, not so even across the board. Hmm 3 wales, 3 mountains, is there some secret message here?
